Ford Repair: replace studs on rear, cheater bar, ford 350

Question
Several stubs are stripped on the rear of my ford 350 econo.  How do I go about replacing them?

Answer
Mike, there are a couple of different ways to do it.  However, I would tell you the best way.  Take a C-clamp and press the stud out of the hub.  It will be tight, so you may have to use a "cheater bar."  To put the new one in, just dip the stud in some soapy water.  Then push the stud into the hole.  Find a nut that matches the thread, and tighten down until the stud bottoms out.  (the thread size will probably be 1/2 in. by 20)  If you have any other problems or questions, feel free to ask.   Good luck,   Jason
