Question
The car wouldn't start, The regulator was bad replaced that still no start, the ignition coils had cracks replaced those both still no start. But Then My father was cranking for about 3 minutes straight, then the engine just Stop cranking completely. just made a clicking noise, when your turned the key to start it. took the plugs out to see it was lock due to fuel, but when he turned the key it still made the clicking noise. we don't know why it wouldn't strat any clues ????

it seems like we'll need a rebuild engine $1,395

Answer
HI Kevin thanks for asking, I think this is a follow up question from yesterday! I would suspect that the stater is no longer any good, In your owners manual it says not to crank for more then 10 seconds, cranking for long periods of time will burn out the starter. the first thing I would do is remove the startor and have that tested at a local parts store. If it ok I would suspect maby mechanical damage has occured to the eninge that is why it will no longer crank.
Good luck
