Ford Repair: 1995 Ford Explorer Fuel Injection, metal tabs, cam sensor

Question
Hi Chris, I have problems with my 1995 Explorer it will crank over but will not start. I have changed the ignition module and crank sensor and checked the cam sensor the fuel rail has 42 psi gas pressure and get spark ignition but no voltage signal on the injectors. I have also checked the voltage and grounds on the computer.  Do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your expertise.
Sid

Answer
Hi Sid thanks for asking,
When in a situation like this the first thing i do is check the mechanical integrety of the engine, Run a compression test, check to see if the mechanical timing is ok. Is there a signal going to the fuel injectors? Try this. Pull one of the fuel injector connectors off, and with a peanut bulb(small auto bulb) with the little metal tabs, stick the two tabs in the connector and crank the engine. If there is pulse you will see the bulb light up while vranking. Try these and get back to me with your resluts.
Good luck
