Ford Repair: 1999 ford explorer, ford explorer, ford

My 1999 Ford Explorer has been ideling very rough for awhile now. Had it diagnosed as a misfire in cylinder 5. Changed the plugs and wires. Still ran idled rough. Today it will not even pull out of my driveway. What could the problem be?

there are many reasons why the engine could misfire. Unfortunatly its hard to say anything without looking at the  vehicle, But there are only two main thing the engine needs to run properly, Spark and fuel, take one of those away from a cylinder and it will not fire.
