Ford Repair: Door panel removal on 99 Explorer XLT, phillips head, power locks

I need to replace a broken Mirror on the Drivers side. How do I remove the Door Panel?

Hi Ray thanks for asking.
there are a few different types of door panels on theses, depending if you have power locks, windows, speakeris in the door. typicall theses are all power, so the switch will have to be removed for the windows and locks. with a little srew driver pry up on the switches and they should poop out.typically there are two fairly large phillips head srews hiding around the hadle where you pull the door shout, for an anchor. some times they use a bunch of liitle phillips head srews to hold the rest of the door panel on and sometimes there are just clips holding the door on. if it looks like clips then all you have to do is give the door panel a gentel tug around the outsides of the door panel. If there is a manual window, then you have to puch back on the door panel alittle bit, enough to get a little pick inside to pull out the "U" clip once that is out just tug on the handle and it will come off.
