Ford Repair: Struts for 98 Taurus SHO, shocks and struts, rear struts

Hey Steve, do you know where I can purchase rear struts for a 98 Taurus SHO at a reasonable price. These struts has a sensor harness on them. The dealership quoted me $240.00 each. Man, that's CRAZY!! I know there got to be somewhere I can find much cheaper. Some one told me that some places sell refurbished ones, know anything about this?

  Honestly, the only place I know of to get shocks and struts at a decent price online is www.shox.com.  Then again, the dealership probably quoted you what sounds like an outgareous price because...well...they're a dealership.  That's what they do.  You might just call around to parts stores in your area and see what they're charging.  Many shops will let you bring in your own parts (but always ask beforehand).  Hope this helps.
