Ford Repair: PISTON RING COMPRESSOR TOOL, piston ring compressor, harbor freight tools

Question
Hi Steve

I know this might sound a bit crazy. However, I'm new at building engines. I have a '66 Ford Mustang and I'm rebuilding the engine. Got it back from the machine shop and got new 0.030 pistons. Engine was bored-out 0.030ths.

QUSTIONS IS: What's the best Piston Ring Compress to get and where to buy it please ?
After spending all this $$$ on parts and engine work. Why buy cheap tools.
What's you suggestion please and why?

Thank you Steve
GOD BLESS

Answer
Ray-

To be perfectly honest, all ring compression tools are pretty much the same.  They may differ in design, but they're function and ease of use is all roughly the same.  As for where to buy, I'd check out the usual suspects...Jegs, Summit, Harbor Freight Tools, maybe even Sears.  I'd even guess most auto parts stores would carry them.  Hope this helps.
