Ford Repair: blowing fuse, rear defroster, amp meter

fuse for backup lights, overdrive ,rear defroster, and 4 wheel drive keeps blowing on my daughters 1996 for explorer. i have unplugged the rear defroster to no avail. have you seen this?

You need to install a amp meter in place of the fuse. Then run each accessory and watch the current flow. When it spikes very high you can narrow it down to that item. Also, check carefully for added trailer wiring accidently hooked up wrong.
