Ford Repair: Heater Core 1999 F150, ford f150, heater core

I am attempting to install a heater core in a 1999 Ford F150
In taking apart the dash do I need to remove the airbag cover to drop the bottom dash

On a 1999 you have to remove the entire dash. Start by dropping the steering column and unplug all the wires on the passenger side. Then remove the trim up top and unbolt all the dash mounting bolts. I usually pivot the dash on the passenger front seat which will allow enough room to get the heater box out.
