Ford Repair: I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO ....., ford explorers, engine computer

FIRST OF ALL MY FORD EXPLORERS CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS COME ON. I BROUGHT IT TO GET THE DIAGNOSTIC DONE, AND WHAT THEY TELL ME IS THAT NOTHING IS WRONG OR IT DOESN'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. I CHANGED THE AIR FILTER HOPING THAT WILL FIX THE PROBLEM, BUT IT DIDN'T.  I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO  HELP.....

I would start by finding a new mechanic. It is possible that your trucks ECM (Engine Computer) has gone bad and will no longer communicate with a scan tool.  But, before you replace it I would have someone else look at it. Look for a good ASE certified shop. You can also check for any complaints against them at BBB.org
