My ford exlporer sport 2001 lack of power and stumbling while going up hill.

There are a thousand possibilities here. Lets start with the basics first. Do you have a clean air filter? How long has it been since a good tune-up was done? Next, I would recommend checking the fuel pressure while driving up a hill or engine under a load anyway. It should hold 32-40psi.
