Ford Repair: 1993 Ford Taurus Radio Removal, taurus gl, auto part stores

Question
Hey,

I just got a new radio for my Taurus GL, but I'm having trouble taking out my old (factory) one.. There's 4 holes in each corner of the radio, but they don't seem to have any screws in them or anything..

Any idea? Thanks in advance.

Answer
Christian,

You need a special ford radio tool to remove your radio. It goes into the 4 holes and releases a locking pin. Then simply pull the radio forward and unplug your connectors on the rear.

Most auto part stores sell the tool and I belive Wal-Mart does also.
