Ford Repair: 2001 Escape radio working but no display, backlights, cd radio

My radio (single cd radio with RDS) is working fine and has backlights, but the display is not working.  Can this be repaired and where could I find the parts?

If the backlight for the LCD display is burned out you can usually replace the bulb. Remove the radio and remove the top cover. There is a socket directly behind the LCD display with a bulb in it. The bulb is available through Radioshack and some Napa stores.

If the LCD display is bad then you probably need to ship the radio out for repairs.
