i have a 1984 ford ranger how do i change the heater core

Lucky you, this is one of the easiest heater cores of any vehicle on the road. Under the dash, more or less behind the glove box is an access door for the heater core, remove the screws and this cover then pull rearward and down on the heater core.

Be sure to remove the hoses first, of course.
