Ford Repair: 1994 Ford Explorer Dome light issue, light fuse, fuse panel

Question
I have a 1994 Ford Explorer XLT 4 door.  The dome and door lights do not come on when the doors are open, but work with the light switch.  All bulbs are ok, and the door switch seem ok.  The problem started only with the Drivers side door - all other doors worked the lights.  Then suddenly, none of the doors turn on the lights.  All fuses in fuse panel checked.  Confirmed radio/light fuse controlled the radio and lights.  Short of getting an electrical diagram, I am stuck.

Thanks!

Answer
You may have to go ahead and check each door switch. Do all the other inside lights work? Glove box, rear luggage area, glove box?

There are two splices, S209 near the headlamp switch wiring tapeout; and S210 which is somewhere near the tapeout to the left front door light switch. Ground G204 is behind the left kick panel trim. You can check these if you want, but I would start with the door switches. These switches have been a problem for years.

You shouldn't find voltage at the door switches. Like most equipment on Fords these swtiches are ground side devices.
I am not sure where else to tell you to check. Almost sounds like an open wire somewhere. I have found several problems ib the door wiring.
