Ford Repair: upgrades, ford crown victoria, roller rocker arms

Hows it going. I just was wondering whats some of the enexpensive ways taht I would be able to upgrade my horsepower on my car. I'm running a 91 ford crown victoria ltd. The 5.0. My friend keeps telling me to throw on some headers but I'm having some problems finding them and at the same time didnt wannna throw alot of money at one thing. If working with a 700 dollar budget, how would you go about increasing horsepower. Thanks

  For $700 I wouldn't go too crazy.  I'd get some exhaust work done.  I'm not sure if Mustang headers will fit on a Crown Vic or not, but if they will then I'd replace everything...headers, true dual exhaust, and some nice mufflers.  That'd probably cost you about half of that $700...or so.  The rest I'd probably use to buy some 1.7 ratio roller rocker arms.  It won't give you a huge bump in power, but it's relatively inexpensive and they'll make your cam act like it's bigger than it is.  Hope this helps.
