Ford Repair: f150 fuse blowing, headlamp switch, dash lights

Question
My fuse for dash and tail lights just started to blow and does everytime I replace it.Where do I begin to trace  the problem? It is a 1992 f150,6 cyl.

Answer
If you have a trailer connector, I would start there, check for bare wires grounding, make sure the connector is clean. Next the headlamp switch, as I recall there were some problems with heat in that area melting the connector. Otherwise it's a matter of checking all the circuits for wires rubbed thru, or shorting together. I doubt it's in the dash lights unless the problem is in the switch.
