yes hi steve i want to know where is the reset bottom for the service engine soon light for a lincoln navegarol 03 i chance the oil and the spark plug thank u steve h

  There isn't really a "reset button" for the computer.  There are, however, two relatively easy ways to reset it.  The first would be with a scanner.  You can do this at home if you happen to own a code scanner or you can take it to a shop...but a shop will charge you.  The second way is the quick 'n dirty way (but it's free).  Start by disconnecting both battery cables and make sure they're safely away from the battery.  Then put the key into the ignition and turn it to the "accessory on" position (it's the last position before turning the engine over...the one that gives you lights, radio, etc.).  Leave it that way for 20-30 minutes, remove the key, and hook the battery back up.  This should drain all of the power from the computer and force the light to reset (assuming you fixed whatever set the light off in the first place).  You'll have to reset all of you radio settings...but hey, at least it didn't cost you anything.  Hope this helps.
