Ford Repair: Auto Alarm 2003 Focus, ground cable, ford focus

Question
I removed my ground cable on my battery to clean and when reattached the horn went off for 30 seconds and went off, then on again. My car will not start. I think this is related to my alarm system. How do I get my car to start. I bought the 2003 Ford Focus new with alarm allready installed.

Factory alarms do not have this problem, the dealer most likely had an alarm added before you bought it. Most can be bypassed by disconnecting the battery, turn the key to the ON position, then connect the battery. Should work normally after doing this.
