Ford Repair: front end noise, grease fittings, d40

i have a 99 windstar sel . my front end makes a lot of noisewhen i turn but it dont sound like power steering ,its sound like my front end needs a shot of W-D40 or greased ,all my other cars have been old ones does this on have grease fitins

Hi Chris,
It is probably the outer tie rod ends, it happens alot as FORD doesn't have any grease fittings in joints anymore. You can replace them yourself or have your mechanic do it. Make sure you get it aligned afterward. GOOD LUCK!
