Ford Repair: Vibration in 01 Taurus se, front wheel bearings, cv joint

I recently purchased an 01 taurus se and am finding a vibration that is only under acceleration around 45 to 50 mph .Yesterday i had the alignment done and wheels balanced .Still the vibration .As i get to the speed where it starts and i let off the gas it is smooth. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Mark,
It sounds like you may have a bad CV joint or axle, If you can tell whick side it's coming from, replace just that side, if not replace both half-shafts. Youn can test if you have a jack and a couple of jack stands. Jack up front and run it at the speed the vibration starts. You should be able to see which one is bad. May also be front wheel bearings.
