Ford Repair: The Spring in the rear window of Bronco 1990, door latch, auto manuals

Question
The back window has gone down and will not come up we have changed the motor in it and still will not work. You can hear the motor trying to work but will not work with the glass on the lift. We have taken the whole gear plate out and tried to start completly over but still no luck. We are inquiring about the spring and which direction it should go in. Or if you know where we would be able to find a diagram. thank you for your time

Many times the switch attached to the door latch sticks or fails to operate correctly, causing the window to stop working. Are you sure there is power getting to the motor?
I am not sure where you can find info on this, maybe at the library. Some have auto manuals in the reference section. You could also check with a Ford dealer nearby, some still have the older books and they might make copies of the pages you need.
