Ford Repair: a/csystem on 1998 F-150 ford pickup, mark ford, csystem

everytime I turn on the a/c it will blow cold air and than you hear the inner door slam shut and it starts blowing hot air. do you have any ideas what this might be.any info will be greatly apperciated

Ford has a lot of problems with blend door breakage, and that is the door you are probably hearing. It could be the electric motor that drives the door is broken and allowing the door to move freely. Most times I replace both since it is so much work to do.
