Ford Repair: Head lights and Power Distribution Panel 88 Bronco II, power distribution panel, bronco ii

Question
My headlights no longer work. I do not believe in the coincidence that  they both went out at once.
When I looked in the owners manual it indicated that there is a Power Distribution Panel with a 40 amp breaker for the headlights. I cannot find it. Bronco  II XLT 1988. Thanks.

Answer
Don't be surprised if both lights went out, it does happen

Power distribution box= fuse panel. IF the headlamps are protected by a circuit breaker that will not be your problem, most self-reset and rarely fail. If you have a 12 volt test light or a voltmeter it is quit easy to check the voltage at the headlamp connector before you go chasing the circuit to see where a problem is, if you have voltage there with the headlamp switch ON then the lamps failed;  the multi-function switch on the steering column high/low beam and they do fail.

Have you high or low beams or none at all?
