Ford Repair: How much is my ford mustang worth?, ford mustang, pace car

I was just wondering how much i should be asking for my ford mustang it it 1979 and has the orginal 63,000 and is in real good condition we are the second owners and are moving and i dont want to take it with me. how much is a good price i have tried kbb and they only go up to 1989?

  It depends on the options, motor, etc.  For a basic 4 cylinder model I wouldn't ask much...maybe $2K or $3K.  If you've got something like a '79 Pace Car, it could go for as high as $6K or $7K I'd imagine if it's in good shape.  You might look around at websites that offer online car ads and just see what people are selling similar cars in similar condition for.  Hope this helps.
