Ford Repair: Engine for 1992 Mustang LX, mustang lx, wrecking yard

I would like to Upgrade from a 2.3 to Maybe 2.5. Is this possible.

I don't think so. Why change it? The 2.3 has always been a strong, reliable engine. I think the 2.5 came out later than 1992, so most of the electronics, linkage, etc. will be different. You can check with a local wrecking yard, they usually have cross-reference books that might indicate if these are interchangeable.
