Ford Repair: 97 Thunderbird A/C Blower not functioning, fan speed control, blower motor

Question
97 Ford T-bird.  The blower stopped blowing.  There is no voltage at the blower connector.  I changed the fan speed control switch and it didnt solve the issue.  What are the T-shooting steps I should perform at this point.

Answer
If this Tbird has a manual fan switch, then it also has a blower resistor, usually mounted somewhere near the blower motor.

Did you check the fuses? Blower motor uses a 30 amp in-line fuse, taped to the harness behind the right hand side of the instrument cluster.

The blower motor should have power at the grey/yellow wire on the motor connector, if it doesn't then you have a fuse or power problem. The resistor controls the ground side of the blower motor.
