Ford Repair: Engine Swap, little bits and pieces, lincoln towncar

Question
I am trying to put a 5.0 engine out of a 1990 Lincoln Towncar, into a a 1986 Ford f150(with 5.0) Can you tell me what all is interchangeable between these two, as far as what we have to do to put the lincoln motor in the truck. Also the injectors in the truck motor are bad, are we going to be able to plug the injectors out of the lincoln into the ford harnesses. Please Help, Thank you in advance.

The engine itself will drop right in...no problem.  As for everything else, I'd re-use as much from the truck as possible.  The injectors will probably work, though I'm not dead certain about that.  I believe they're both 19lb/hr pieces, but as for the injector harnesses (where they plug in) I'm not quite sure.  You'll need to re-use the truck's exhaust manifolds and a few little bits and pieces.  One problem you may run into ios the intake.  Most trucks have intakes designed to draw air from the driver's side while just about all other cars are setup to draw it from the passenger's side.  With a little creativity you can usually fix this, but it's one thing to think about beforehand.  Hope this helps.
