my climate control fan will not run on automatic but will run on manual highest setting no low fan control,i can set temp setting on 60 and the auto will work on high fan output for maybe 1 to2 minutes and then cut off for a few minutes then cut back on_____your help would be appreciated

There is a simple test you can do and let me know the results. On the climate control panel, simultaneously press the OFF and FLOOR buttons, then within 3 seconds push the AUTO button. It is best to do this with the engine warmed up, but you can do it without the engine running, just turn the key to ON position.

As this test runs you may see some dashed lines running aorund on the display. When the test ends it will display numbers, 888 if it passes. If anything besides 888 comes up, send me those numbers please.

The most likely fault is in the blower speed control, which is an electronic device that controls blower speed. Many times when this part fails high speed is the only one that works. The other problem would be the control head, but most times it is the blower controller. See if you get any codes from the system and we'll take it from there.
