Ford Repair: Driver side window want operate., windstar van, electronic module

Ford 1999 Windstar Van.  Driver side (Auto) window stopped working. We are not receiving power to the motor. The door panel switch is ok. We have run check on all fuses etc.  We think the problem is the switch that controls (Auto down) this feature is bad (Auto feature for the driver window only). We don't know if there is a switch or where it is located. The window will just start working for 2 or 3 days then go out for months.  Thanks for any Help!  Jack

The master window switch is connected to the front electronic module. This is where the auto-down window function is controlled. You need to check for codes in that module and any others, requires a scanner. I'm not sure a plain code reader will read these modules.
