Ford Repair: speedometer, digital speedometer, aod

somebody ripped the stereo from my 1988 T-Bird,a side effect is the iluminated digital speedometer can't be seen,it still works as far as reading the speed but can't see reading without a flashlight,is there something I can do to repair it or replace a part?
 The car is just a basic  T-Bird with V-6,AOD trans,any help or advice would be greatly appreciated,thanks for your time,Ernie

There are two small bulbs behind the speedo that illuminate that portion, it could be those or a fuse for the illumination. Have you noticed any other lighting not working? The radio and speedo illumination may both be on the same fuse and when the radio was stolen the fuse could have blown.

The speedo bulbs were common repairs in those days, but I suggest you check the fuses first before removing the cluster.
