Ford Repair: wiring, white fuel, wire colors

Question
Hello;
     I have a question which I hope you can aid me in.Yesterday I pulled out my girlfriends gas tank out of her '94 Ranger 3.0 motor due to a badly corroded fuel pump/sender which rusted so bad that it was spewing gas all over.When I reached under the bed to disconnect the wiring harness to the pump it completely crumbled away in my hands due to the gas spilling over it.Now all that i have is four wires with metal tips hanging and no clue where they go on the pump/sender. Please help.

Answer
Tom, I don't have a schematic handy, but as far as I can recall this is how the wire colors are laid out-
Pink/black=fuel pump +
Yellow/white-fuel gauge sender
Black-ground

There may be two black wires, if so the thicker gauge wire is the fuel pump ground, the thinner the fuel guage ground.

You may be able to find or order a replacement connector at your local Ford dealer. The parts coverage for those has gotten much better in the past few years. If not, check with a major parts store and see if they have Help or another brand that might have what you need. I do not have part numbers for you, sorry.
