Ford Repair: 1993 Taurus vibration dampner/front main seal, ford taurus gl, crankshaft pulley

I am in the process of replacing my front main on my 93 Ford Taurus GL, 3.0 V6. I have the front wheel off and the fender cover off also. To get to my question, After taking the crankshaft pulley off I have to take off the vibration dampner, which I can't get off. I don't have to right kind of puller, so I know that is where my problem is.. Is there any other way around going out and buying a new puller? thank you.

Some auto parts stores rent tools, or a rental center that rents most kinds of tools and construction equipment. I doubt you will have to buy one.

The press fit of the dampener makes other methods of removal nealry impossible. You could try two long pry bars, but I think clearance will be a problem, not to mention damaging aluminumor other parts.
