Ford Repair: Explorer Transmission, ford dealer, thumps

Question
2002 Explorer, atomoatic w/ 70K miles.  I hear and feel a series of thumps - usually happens after driving 30-45 minutes on interstate and then exit slowing down to 30 - 50 MPH.  It occurs less frequently accelerating after a fast stop.  A Ford dealer slushed the transmission 2 weeks ago, but that didn't stop the problem.  Thanks for your help.

Answer
Hello Ed,
When you had the transmission flushed did, the mechanic check your transmission mounts? The transmission will have alot of movement if one or more mounts are broken, this could be the thumping that your hearing. I would take a better look at it.. Thanks..
