Ford Repair: ABS lite blinks wont come out of park, light fuse, auto parts stores

Question
i was wiring my f150 for trailer lites and must have shorted something. now the abs light blinks and it won't come out of park. all the fuses are good but 2 under the hood and 1 under the dash don't have power. checked with motor running. all the tail lights work.
any ideas?

Answer
What year? that will help. Sounds like you have created a problem in the brake light circuit. Did you check all the fuses, large and small? Some of the unpowered fuses may be something like lights, which wouldn't power up unless the headlamps are on.

Send me the year/engine and will check the schematics, try to give more clues. Some auto parts stores have a direct plugin that attaches to the factory wiring, did you use one of these or hard wire it yourself?

How did yo test the fuses, test light or visual? Even a small crack in a fuse can look good, althoug ifyou blewa brake light fuse it should be quite open
