Ford Repair: 93 Ford, Aerostar, ford aerostar, abs sensor

Brake and RBS light are on all the time when the van is running, both lights do the normal checks when I start the van, it goes out for a moment and comes back on and stays on.  I bleed the brake system with new fluids, and changed the sensor in the differental house. I cleaned all the plugs on the master and the spider cylinder, all are free from dirt and fluids. Still no help. I still have both lights. pleas help.

Hi Patrick,
The ABS and brake light come on anytime there is a problem with the brake system or ABS system. You have allready done everything you can for the brake system side. The problem is the ABS side. You will need to take it to your mechanic and have him "pull the codes" from the ABS computer. If you changed the ABS sensor in the rear housing, then it's probably the RABS valve located under the brake booster. The only way to tell for sure, is to have the codes pulled!
