Ford Repair: 1996 FORD MUSTANG, ford mustang, gas tank

I wanted to thank you again for helping me before with the o/d light. You told me to "re-set" the computer and that worked! No more light! Yeah! Anyways. I have one more question for you. I had also asked you about the gas tank, and you had said it would be hard to tell with out seeing the car, but maybe this wil help. You know when you unscrew the gas cap it normally slightly "hisses" while letting the pressure out? Well mine doesn't do that. I have replaced the cap(twice)and that didn't do anything. My car doesn't seem to hold gas for that long, is there anything I should try?
I know that's a weird one, just thought I'd try! Thanks

  I'm guessing you've either got a bad gas tank seal or maybe a hole in the filler neck.  Not exactly common problems, but definitely not unheard of.  Anything involving dropping the gas tank I'd recommend you have done at a shop.  It's do-able at home, but it can become a huge pain.  Hope this helps.
