Ford Repair: 98 Ford Mustang, ford mustang gt, coolant level

I own a 98 Ford Mustang GT convertable. I bought the car used and don't have an owners manual.

I need to know what this indicator light is.

It looks like a square with a fan and water level above the fan.  All my gages are fine and nothing seems wrong with the car, just wondering what this indicator is for.

  Sounds to me like the coolant light.  Usually the light is caused by a low coolant level or a bad sensor.  Check the radiator to see where the fluid level is and add some if it needs it.  If the level looks fine you might consider having the sensor replaced.  Hope this helps.
