Ford Repair: 1993 Ford Bronco, ford bronco, vapor lock

Question
I have 93 Bronco 302 w/auto trans w/OD
I was driving on a hot day with a small trailor when after about an hour it started to buck and then died. When I stepped on the gas it would just bog down or if I pumped the gas it would try to run but would sometimes back fire.
It restared but quickly died again. after about a hour it restarted and ran fine. I took it in to have it checked, no problem found. I continued my trip of 300 miles. A few days later I made the return trip and after several hours on the road, I descended a long grade and when I got to the bottom and stepped on the throttle it bogged down and died. After about 10 min it started and I got another 30 miles and it happened again. If I maintained a speed of 50+ it would keep going but if I had to slow down or stop it would stall.
It continued to get shorter between stalls. I was able to get into a small town buy fluttering the gas. I had it looked at, again no problem found.
I was able to go another 60 miles on the highway but when I got to the light at the off ramp it stalled. The engine was not hot. but it was a hot day (95-100).The truck has 93k miles. I had tuned it with filters, plugs, wires, thermostat, new distributor and new cap and rotor. I have not had it very long and it has not done this since. But I have not had it on a long haul again either.
Since then I have changed the fuel pump and filter. It almost seemed like vapor lock, but is this possible with fuel injection?

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
Vapor lock isn't possible with fuel injection. The fuel is under pressure which raises it's boiling point. What I would suggest is that you have the computer system checked for fault codes and also have the exhaust check for clogs.
