I HAVE A 1965 FORD THUNDERBIRD 390 V/8 AUTO.
WHEN DRIVING THE CAR AND I LET GO OF THE STREERING WHEEL IT PULLS OR DRIFTS TO THE RIGHT.
I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING TO IT AS FAR AS FRONT IN BALL JOINTS ,SHOCKS, AND A FRONT END ALIMENT. TWICE TO MAKE SURE IT WAS ACCUATE.ALSO ALL NEW TIRES.
ALSO, PROBLEM WHEN STOPPING REAL FAST IT KILLS THE MOTOR.
I ALSO HAVE A 1980 THUNDERBIRD WITH A 255 V/8 AUTO THAT WHEN YOU TURN REAL SHARP ,LIKE PARKING THE CAR IN A SPACE AT THE MALL IT ALSO KILLS THE MOTOR.
I HOPE YOU CAN HELP

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
Have the frame checked to see if it is warpped or bent.
As for the 1980 T-Bird..have the computer system checked and also have the power steering switch checked.....it tells the computer that the vehicle is turning and raises the idle.
