Ford Repair: Ford explorer riding low, hatch area, air shocks

Question
I own a 1997 Ford Explorer.  It is a V-8 5.0 liter engine and an automatic transmission.  Just recently I added approxiamately 450 lbs of extra stereo equipment to the rear hatch area.  After I had this work completed the rear of the vehicle sits about 1'1/2" lower than the front and slightly leans towards the driver side of the vehicle (I assume because of the extra batteries on that side).  I took the vehicle to a shop here in Germany and he replaced the shocks and said something about putting some spacers somewhere under there.  There was a little bit of a language barrier there, and I am not quite sure what the spacers are actually called or if there is something else that I should be looking at before that.  I understand that the shocks don't actually hold the vehicle up, but those just needed to be replaced.  The drive of the vehicle hasn't changed too much except for the slight leaning feeling to the left.  If you could please tell me if you know the technical name for these "spacers" or if you know of something else that might be the problem and possible solution to this problem?

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
To tell you the truth..I've got no idea of what "spacers" they are talking about.
I did find that your vehilce is on Air Shocks and can have the ride height adjusted.
I would also suggest that you center the load of weight in the rear hatch area.
