Ford Repair: focus breaks, rear wheel speed, wheel spindle

Question
I have a 03 focus & want to change the baack breaks.  But I cant get the drums off..
Is there a new way to take them off?

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE THE CENTER NUT!
Removal
All Vehicles
CAUTION: The brake drum removal in this procedure is for access to brake system components, not for installing a new brake drum.
Release the parking brake.
Remove the wheel and tire.
Vehicles with anti-lock brakes:
Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor.
All Vehicles
Remove the brake drum and wheel spindle assembly.
Installation
All Vehicles
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
