Ford Repair: no starting, fule, glow plugs

I have a 2002 f250 4x4 7.3 diesel 62,000 miles and it just wont start,ran fine then I shut it off and tryed to restart it and it fires up every once in awhile then dies. i changed the fuel filter and when i drain the fule from the lever on the filter it pours out a lot of fuel so i think the pump is ok? Yesterday it would start then die or it would fire for 2 seconds just long enough to diengage the starter.now it just cranks.i got fuel 3 days ago so it should be ok. Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
There are a few things I can suggest:
1: Check the computer system for fault codes
2: Check the Fuel pressure......put a gauge on it
3: Check the glow plugs....if a few are bad....it won't start
