Ford Repair: 2001 Ford Taurus, ford taurus, abs light

Question
I bought a used 2001 Ford Taurus a few months ago. It's been running perfectly until yesterday.  After I had been driving it for about an hour I turned it off for about 5 minutes, and then it wouldn't start, just clicked.  A neighbor told me it sounded like the starter.  After about a half hour I tried it again, and it started fine. I tested it a few times, driving for a while then trying to start it. Sometimes it started, sometimes not.  It always starts fine when it's been sitting for a while.  The times it hasn't started right up again is when I've been running the A/C.  Probably unrelated, but the ABS light comes on sometimes when the A/C is running, then when I turn off the A/C the ABS light goes out. I'd appreciate any advice you might have.

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
The AC and ABS are unrelated.
As far as the starting problem goes.....have a shop test the starting system and go from there. It might be a heat related issue with the starter.......causing it to bind when heat soaked.
Hope this helps,
Erik
