Ford Repair: Emission system on 2003 Ford Windstar, 2003 ford windstar, ford windstar

The light on the dash signalling emmission problem lit up.  In checking maintainence schedules it appeared that we need to replace in dash cabin air filter and regular car filter.  We did but light is still on.  Does that light have to be turned off by a repairman or does this mean we still have a problem?

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
The emissions light that is on is indicating that your engine needs to be looked at by a mechanic.............not your interior air filter replacement. The light has to be reset by a scan tool.
