Ford Repair: 1994 probe od light, d light, 1994 ford probe

Just purchased 1994 Ford Probe 5 weeks ago.
Previous owner just installed a new drive chain day before we picked up. Took it on a 1,000 mile trip, no problems untill 20 miles from home. Just got a blue O/D light flashing on dash board. Seems to still be running great. Please tell me this is not bad news!

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
With out knowing what fault code is stored in the computer.....I can't tell you IF it is bad news or not. The O/D light flashing indicates that there is a transmission problem.  Have it checked out at a repair shop.
