Ford Repair: casting numbers, painless wiring harness, electronic transmission control

Question
i put a 302 out of a 1978 bronco in a jeep wrangler. works great! i picked up a fuel injection system minus computer for what i'm told is a 302. i can't decifer the cast numbers to see if i can get a computer, and a painless wiring harness. or if it's compatable to my engine. the cast numbers of the intake manifold are RF-E7TE-9K461-F1A if more numbers or info will help please let me know. i appreciate anything you could tell me or refer me to

The computer you go with will largely depend on your setup.  The manifold you got carries the E7TE label which started production in 1987 and carried on (especially on cylinder heads) into the early 90s in some cases.  I would call up Painless Wiring and ask them if there's any specific computer they recommend for your application since I'm not too familiar with their stuff.  It could just be for use with one computer (I doubt that, but it's a possibility).  If the harness will work with anything, I'd recommend hitting up a junkyard and pulling a computer from a vehicle as close to your Jeep as possible.  For instance, if you're running an automatic transmission, I'd try to find a computer from a truck...maybe a mid 90s F-150...that has a 302 and automatic transmission.  I would try and stick withearly-mid 90s stuff since it's less complicated and doesn't use things like electronic transmission control or speed sensors.  Hope this helps.
