Ford Repair: heater hose replacement, taurus 3, ford taurus

I have a 1994 Ford Taurus 3.8L engine, and the heater hose is leaking, when I look up the parts they ask for (sitting inside the card left side, or right side :)  what do they mean, the heater or the hose, anyway is this a problem to change

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
They are asking for left or right side of the car. Everything is identified by IF you are sitting in the car............even if you are outside the car. If you are looking at the engine from the front of the car and tell a person that you want a left manifold gastket............that would indicate that you want a gasket for the driver's side. Even though it is on your right, when you are looking at it.
No, the heater hose isn't difficult to change......make sure the system is cool before you start.
