Ford Repair: Ford Explorer Starving, ford explorer eddie bauer, explorer eddie bauer

Question
Hello, i have a 1997 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition.  Its a 305 5.0 V8 Automatic Transmission.  Im not sure about the mileage but i know its more than 60,000.  Everytime i turn corners it feels like its starved for fuel and even feels like it might want to stall.  What could be causing this? Inertia switch, Fuel Pump, Regulator, relay, or am i shootin at the wrong target all together? It needs a tune up but its only been 8 months since the last one. I also heard there was a recall on this truck for fuel lines, would i have to take it to the dealer to have that fixed, and are they could poke my eyes out ...AGAIN?  Please help.

Thank You

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
I think you are heading in the wrong direction. When you turn the steering wheel there is a power steering switch that gets activated........to increase the RPM and maintain idle. I would suggest that you have the computer sysem checked for fault codes.
As far as the recall goes....you will be notified of it by mail and you'll have to go to the dealership.......a recall if usually FREE..........and shouldn't cost you anything. You can have the dealership check to see IF your SUV is involved in that or any recalls.
Hope this helps,
Erik
