Ford Repair: Head swap 1986 ford EXP on 1994 or 1998 1.9L, ford exp, head swap

Can I replace the head on a 1994 1.9 or 1998 2.0 with a head from a 1986 Ford EXP? Looks like it will work, but not sure about compression, etc. Will I have more power?

Sorry...... I couldn't tell you. Your best bet is to ask a salvage/junk yard if it will work. They have "swap" books that they use. Either that or ask the dealership parts person. I'm a mechanic, not a parts person.
